Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information Guilty Look Games LLC (“GLG,” “we,” or “us”) may collect from you or that you may provide us when you visit our website at guiltylook.com, or use our mobile applications, games, and products (collectively the “Services”). Please review this Privacy Policy to learn about the information we collect from you and how we use that information. By using our Services, you acknowledge the practices we outline in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, then please do not use our Services.
Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy based upon evolving laws, regulations and industry standards, or as we may make changes to our business including our Services. We will post changes to our Privacy Policy on this page and encourage you to review our Privacy Policy when you use our Services to stay informed. If we make changes that materially alter your privacy rights, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. If you disagree with the changes to this Privacy Policy, you should discontinue your use of the Services.
Children
The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information, they should contact us at privacy@guiltylookgames.com. We will delete such information from our files as soon as reasonably practicable.
Personal Information We Collect
Information You Provide Us
You do not need to create an account or give us your name to play our games. You may provide us with your email address, name, device type, player ID, and the contents of your message if you choose to contact us, for example through our support page, our data request page, or by email. If you choose to sign in with Game Center or Google Play Games, we receive the player ID and display name that service shares with us.
Information We Automatically Collect
When you use our games, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Identifiers, such as a random player ID created by the game, and, where you have allowed it, your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android).
- Game data, such as your progress, completed puzzles, scores, statistics, and settings.
- Gameplay events, such as which puzzles you play, how long they take, and when the game is opened and closed.
- Device information, such as your device model, operating system version, language, app version, IP address, and approximate region derived from your IP address.
- Crash reports, describing what the game was doing when a crash happened, together with device information.
- Advertising information, such as which ads you were shown, whether you interacted with them, and which ad led you to install one of our games.
When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically processes information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and date/time stamps, in order to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
We automatically collect this information using the following technologies:
- “Software development kits” (SDKs) are pieces of code in our games, provided by our service providers and advertising partners, that collect the information described above.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Services, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Local storage” on your device keeps your player ID and settings so the game remembers you between sessions.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device. Our website does not use advertising, targeting, or tracking Cookies, and we do not use Cookies to send you marketing communications.
How We Use Cookies
Our website uses only technologies that are strictly necessary for it to work securely, plus privacy-friendly visit statistics. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that confirms a visitor is a person rather than a bot, and which may use short-lived technical data for that purpose. We measure website visits using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use Cookies or track you across other websites.
Our games do not use browser Cookies, but our advertising partners may use similar technologies, such as your device’s advertising identifier, as described in Advertising.
How to Control and Delete Cookies
Cookies can be controlled, blocked or restricted through your web browser settings. Information on how to do this can be found within the Help section of your browser. All Cookies are browser specific. Therefore, if you use multiple browsers or devices to access websites, you will need to manage your Cookie preferences across these environments.

To remove the player ID and settings our games store on your device, delete the game. To delete the copy held on our servers, use our data request page.

How We Share Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Service providers. We may share your personal information with third party companies that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Services, such as hosting, game backend and cloud saves, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, and email. These service providers may use your personal information only as directed or authorized by us and in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy, and are prohibited from using or disclosing your information for any other purpose. The service providers we currently use are:
| Service provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Website hosting, website analytics, security and spam protection, and email forwarding |
| Zoho Corporation | |
| Apple and Google | App distribution and, if you use them, Game Center and Google Play Games sign-in |
We will update this list when we add service providers to our games.
Advertising partners. If our games show ads, or we advertise our games on other services, we share information such as your advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and ad interactions with advertising partners, as described in Advertising. Under some US state laws, sharing information to show personalized ads may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising”; see Your Choices About Advertising to opt out.
We may also share your personal information with professional advisors, and for compliance purposes.
We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our business or assets, including your personal information, in connection with a business transaction (or potential business transaction) such as a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy or dissolution.
Advertising
Our games may show ads provided by advertising networks and their partners. These partners may collect information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and how you interact with ads, in order to show you ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud, and measure how ads perform. Where you have allowed it, they may also use this information to show you ads based on your interests (“personalized ads”). Their use of your information is also governed by their own privacy policies, which we will link to from our games.
We may also advertise our own games on other apps, websites, and social networks, and use measurement partners to understand which of our ads led to an install of one of our games.
Your Choices About Advertising
- On iOS, our games will ask for your permission before your advertising identifier is used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- On Android, you can delete or reset your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, our games will ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice in the game’s settings.
- If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
Public Postings
Our games do not currently let you post content that other players can see. If we add such features, and you share personal information or other content in publicly accessible areas of our Services, you acknowledge that such information can be viewed and collected by others. If your username or ID contains your name, you acknowledge that you are sharing that information publicly with others at your own discretion. There is no expectation of privacy or confidentiality for any content you post in publicly accessible areas of our Services. Please do not share your personal information in public areas or in your username or ID. You are responsible for any information or content you publicly post using our Services.
Privacy Technology Practices
Do Not Track
Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” or similar signals. Our website does not track you across other websites.
Links to Third Party Sites
The Services may contain links to other websites, mobile applications, and other online services operated by third parties, such as the App Store and Google Play. These links are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. In addition, our content may be included on web pages or in mobile applications or online services that are not associated with us. We do not control third party websites, mobile applications or online services, and we are not responsible for their actions. Other websites, mobile applications and services follow different rules regarding the collection, use and sharing of your personal information. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites, mobile applications and online services you use.
Data Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. We employ a number of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect, and we try to collect as little as we need. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Services.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Services. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy: for example, for as long as you play our games, for as long as needed to answer your support request, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. You can ask us to delete your information at any time through our data request page.
